Two Days to a Better Relationship... Two Days to a Better Life

In addition to assessment, therapy and counseling services offered at my office, I offer Hold Me Tight® couples relationship enhancement workshops in Durham, Charlotte, and Wilmington, North Carolina.  Hold Me Tight workshops are based on the evidence-based programming of Sue Johnson's Hold Me Tight® relationship enhancement book and Emotionally Focused Therapy.  As a standalone service, Hold Me Tight workshops can give couples in 2 days what usually takes 10+ sessions of Emotionally Focused Therapy to learn and accomplish.  As an addition to couple therapy, workshops can accelerate change and consolidate growth.  I strongly encourage all of my coupled clients to attend one of my workshop offerings.

Hold Me Tight® is a 2-day relationship education and enhancement program for couples based on Emotionally Focused Therapy research findings and intervention principles.  Originally a book authored by Dr. Sue Johnson, Hold Me Tight workshops provide couples an intimate yet private experience of EFT in a concentrated format.  Couples who have attended our Hold Me Tight workshops have had this to say:
"This has been the most productive experience we’ve had while talking about the most painful subjects in our lives... being with other couples and sharing together helped us feel the hope and support... we have uncovered what lies beneath our behaviors towards each other."
"This workshop helped us realize that we had so much together to fight for and that whatever hurts can be put aside and new healthy bonds built over time. The counselors were there to guide us through any difficulties we were having in relating to each other. We highly recommend this workshop to any couples who are in relationship distress or just wanting a relationship tune up."
"This is a fantastic workshop that can really help your marriage. My husband and I struggled with the same fight for years and finally learned what was really behind it during the weekend. We hit some rocky places during the exercises but the facilitators helped us navigate that territory expertly and we came out on the other side closer than ever. I highly recommend this workshop!"

All workshops I facilitate are listed at www.holdmetightnc.com.  Please visit our website to learn more!
