Supervision and Consultation for All Therapists

I am a NASW Certified Clinical Social Work Supervisor who enjoys consulting with therapists of all professions to improve their psychotherapeutic practice.  I am supervisee-centered in style, but have a wide range of training and study from approaches I pull from to guide my supervisees including:
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (I am a Certified EFT Supervisor and Practitioner for EFCT, EFFT and EFIT)
  • Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (Certified Practitioner)
  • The Gottman Method (Level II+ trained)
  • Discernment Counseling (Certified Practitioner)
  • Psychodynamic & Relational Psychotherapies and Psychoanalysis
  • Other Experiential Psychotherapies (i.e. Focusing, Emotion Focused Therapy, ISTDP, IFS, SE, Coherence Therapy)
  • Narrative Therapy & other Post-Modern Therapies (i.e. Open Dialogue)
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (including IBCT, CBTp, ACT, FAP, BFT, CBCT)
  • Harm Reduction Psychotherapy
  • Systemic Therapies
  • Solution-Focused Therapy
  • Feedback Informed Treatment
  • Common Factors and Alliance-Focused Training
Having worked in community health and mental health services, and academic medicine for 15 years prior to private practice, I understand the realities of the pressures front line mental health clinicians experience in agencies and community institutions.  I employ a "Mentoring and Modeling" approach to Clinical Supervision & Consultation, explicitly to support your sense of safety in supervision, your conceptual and practical competencies, and address Self-of-Clinician blocks to effective client engagement and empowerment.

For any mental health clinicians (LCSWs, Licensed Psychologists, Psychiatrists, LMFTs, LCMHCs/LPCs, NPs, PAs, etc.), I offer consultation that costs as low as a clinician's average collected fee or $125/hour (whichever is higher) if my full fee ($250/hour) is inaccessible.  I do not provide licensure supervision to associates or provisionally licensed clinicians at this time.
